Aircraft Training on the EdgeOur Ground Based Training (GBT) systems push the boundaries of modern pilot training, from full-feature Flight Simulation Training Devices to next-generation Mixed Reality FSTDs and fully integrated Learning Management platforms. Your RoleAs a Service Technician, you are the technical backbone of our simulator and training systems. You keep our high-tech training environments running at peak performance, both in our facilities and at customer sites around the world.
Your Responsibilities-
Support and maintenance of our in-house flight simulators and training systems

Point of contact for our customers regarding technical and organizational matters

Performing remote support and troubleshooting

Close collaboration with our development departments, purchasing, and external suppliers

Responsibility for the maintenance and updating of existing simulator systems
-
Installation, configuration, and commissioning of hardware and software components, both in-house and on-site at customer locations

Creation of technical documentation, handbooks, and manuals
-
Planning and conducting training sessions and briefings for customers and employees
-
Supporting the optimization and further development of existing systems and processes
-
Good command of German and very good English skills, both written and spoken

Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications

Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams

Solid technical understanding of computer, server, and IT systems

Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style

Strong communication skills and enjoyment in working with customers and technical teams

Basic knowledge of programming and network technology

Knowledge of electrotechnical VDE standards

Experience with 3D CAD software

Knowledge of LaTeX

Experience in technical support or in the field of simulators and training systems

Interest or experience in Mixed Reality (MR), Augmented Reality (AR), or Virtual Reality (VR) technologies
